Drew Grande (Contributor)

Drew Grande is the Massachusetts Organizer for the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign and has been with the Sierra Club for 3 years.  Prior to the Sierra Club he worked for the Boy Scouts of America for 8 years as an organizer in Rhode Island and a development director in New Hampshire.  He grew up in Upstate New York, is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Environmental Science and a lifelong fan of the Red Sox.  He was introduced to politics in the 4th grade after unsuccessfully beating back a smear campaign by George H.W. Bush supporters that Michael Dukakis would force school on Saturdays.  Drew was involved in more successful campaigns with John Edwards 2008 primary, Jeanne Shaheen and Barack Obama in 2008, Elizabeth Warren in 2012, and Ed Markey in 2013.
